What drives Dr. Davis’s passion for dentistry is a real passion for people. Engineering the best non-invasive techniques, creating a comfortable space, and curating a team of innovators was all in service of giving patients the highest level of care. What drives him most is seeing the positive impact a new smile can have on a person.
Dr. Davis has become known for his original flair in the dental world and on social media. In fact, he has always been a bit avant-garde. Growing up with a dentist father, he wanted to be anything but, and his first career choice was to be a drummer. He played in many rock bands throughout young adulthood, even while studying to be a medical doctor in college.
Setting his rockstar dreams aside, Dr. Davis decided to pursue his love of aesthetics and bringing the happiness of a new smile to others. He discovered he could be a dentist and be different, and he’s certainly proven that! He’s still a musician, is a sponsored rock climber through Mad Rock Climbing, and enjoys climbing all over the world. Most importantly, Dr. Davis is happily married to his beautiful Italian wife Elena, and they enjoy life together with their three children.
In 2014 Dr. Davis began teaching oral surgery to dental students and dental implantology and management of complex cases to AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) residents at Roseman School of Dentistry in South Jordan, UT.
As a speaker on both a national and international level, he has been invited to speak at the FACE International Congress in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on the subject of integrating smile design with facial esthetics. He has taught oral surgery courses around the country alongside world-renowned lecturer and speaker, Dr. Karl Koerner, and joined the Koerner Center for Surgical Instruction team in 2018.
He has been educating dentists from all around the world on the composite resin process and is currently monitoring dentists on his LUCAsmile® process.
